Kazakh banks year-to-date net income down 37.3 percent

Kazakhstan’s second-tier banks’ aggregate profits declined by 37.3 percent to 58.1 billion tenge ($480 million) in January - May 2008 compared to same period of 2007, Interfax reported on June 20 citing the Financial Supervision Agency (FSA).
