(SRI) - During the first six months of 2008 Kazakhstan’s economy grew 5-5.1 percent, according to the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning, Interfax reported.
According to the National Statistical Agency, the industrial sector grew 3.8 percent and the agricultural sector by 4.1 percent in the same time.
Economic growth was 10.2 percent in the first half of 2007.
