(SRI) - The Europen Unoion has extended the suspension of imposing anti-dumping duty on imports of silicomanganese originating in China and Kazakhstan, Bloomberg reported on Thursday.
The duties approved last December (8.2 percent for China and 6.5 percent for Kazakhstan) have been postponed until September 6, 2009, since the prices for this type of commodity remains relatively high.
Kazakhstan’s ENRC, the world’s largest ferroalloy producer, filed two lawsuits linked to the tariff.

(BBC Monitoring - redOrbit) - Luciano Vasques, the regional director of the Agip KCO consortium, which is developing Kashagan, told the Kazinform state agency in an interview that the extraction of oil in Kashagan could start before October 2013.
