Kazakhstan ups oil and gas production

(SRI) - Kazakhstan increased its oil and gas condensate production by 4.8 percent year-on-year in the first eight months of 2008 to 46.7 million tons and its natural gas production by 13.2 percent to 22.419 billion cubic meters, Interfax reported on Friday.

In August, Kazakhstan produced 5.6 million tons of oil and condensate and 2.417 bcm of gas, according to Interfax.
