Transportation of Caspian oil in Caucasian direction can become additional factor of stability in this region - Kabyldin

(Kazakhstan Today) - Transportation of the Caspian oil in the Caucasian direction can become an additional factor of stability in this region. The President of JSC Company National Company KazMunaiGas, Kairgeldy Kabyldin, stated his opinion at the press conference on Thursday, the agency reports.

“I consider that increase of transit of oil in Caspian Sea - Black Sea direction - through Azerbaijan and Georgia, including oil that belongs to the international and Kazakhstan companies, can become an additional factor of stability in this region,” K. Kabyldin said in reply to the question of journalists on the degree of risks of transportation of oil through the territory of Georgia.

“Their companies are interested in these routes, which that can stimulate them to reach the agreements necessary for stability and safety of this region,” he said.
