TAV and Goldman Sachs bid for Almaty airport

Turkish airport operator said on Monday it has submitted a non-binding bid to buy Kazakhstan’s Almaty airport in a joint venture with Goldman Sachs International, Reuters reported.

(SRI) - In the fist eight months of 2008, Kazakhstan produced 5,459 kg of refined gold, an increase of 2.4 percent from the same period last year, according to the National Statistical Agency.
