(Reuters) - Kazakhstan’s central bank moved to reassure investors on Tuesday that the worst impact of the global credit crunch was behind the country, saying domestic banks had enough liquidity and inflation was under control.

(SRI) - Kazakhstan exported 35.7 million tons of oil and gas condensate in the first seven months of 2008, 1.1 percent less than in the same period last year, Interfax reported citing the National Statistics Agency.
