(KazTAG) - Coal production in Kazakhstan in 2008 rose by 11 percent compared to the previous year to 105 ml tons, the official press quotes results of the government’s work in 2008.
“Coal production companies extracted 105 ml tons (11.2% up) according to tentative data”, the document reads.
In 2008, 11 state standards and 1 amendment were developed and approved within the program of transition of the coal industry to international standards.
