(SRI) - Kazakhstan may fall short of its official oil production forecast by 3 million tons in 2009, the Minister of Economy and Budget Planning said on Tuesday.

Fitch downgrades KazakhGold to CCC from B
(Fitch Ratings) - Fitch Ratings has downgraded KazakhGold Group Limited’s (KazakhGold) Long-term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) to CCC from B and downgraded KazakhGold’s senior unsecured rating to CCC/RR4 from B/RR4. Both ratings remain on Rating Watch Negative (RWN).
