KazMunaiGas 2008 production jumps by 8.2 percent
(Reuters) - Kazakh state oil and gas company KazMunaiGas said on Thursday it produced 18 million tonnes of oil and gas condensate last year, up 8.2 percent on the year before, and upped its investment programme for 2009.

KazMunaiGaz to invest USD2.3 billion in Kashagan
(Gulf News) - KazMunaiGaz National, Kazakhstan’s state-run oil company, will invest 280 billion tenge ($2.3 billion) in the development of the Eni-led Kashagan offshore field this year, after doubling its stake in 2008.
