(SRI) - BTA Bank, Kazakhstan’s largest bank, said Friday that it repaid its two-year, USD250-million Eurobonds.
The Eurobonds, arranged by JP Morgan and CreditSuisse, were issued in January 2007 as part of the Global Medium Term Notes program and carried a coupon of 3-month LIBOR + 1.375 percent.
According to estimates, BTA Bank is facing total repayments of USD3 billion this year, by far the most among all Kazakh banks.
