(Reuters) - A grouping of former Soviet states that controls a key land route from Europe to Afghanistan has agreed to offer “every kind” of help to NATO forces there, its head said on Friday.
(Reuters) - Tajikistan on Thursday started building a railroad to connect its capital Dushanbe to a bridge on the Afghan border, a key link in the projected NATO supply route through the former Soviet Union.
