Financial regulator orders dismissal of Eurasian Bank CEO

(AFP) - EU nations and Turkey said Friday they will sign a key intergovernmental agreement in Ankara on July 13 on Europe’s flagship Nabucco gas pipeline project, but key issues still need to be resolved.

Consortium to cut Kashagan initial phase budget by $1 billion
(SRI) - The consortium of oil companies developing the Kashagan oil field will lower the budget for the development of the project by at least $1 billion as global economic downturn drives down prices for equipment and material.

Kazakhstan projected to produce 1.49 million bpd in 2009 - OPEC
(SRI) - Kazakhstan’s crude oil production is projected to increase by 80,000 barrels per day compared to the previous year to average 1.49 million (bpd) in 2009, the OPEC said in its Monthly Oil Market Report.
