(SRI) - In a conference call with creditors last Thursday, Astana Finance provided an update on its financial situation and proposed a timetable for its restructuring process.

Citibank cuts credit lines on Kazakh interbank market
(SRI) - Citibank Kazakhstan has quit KazPrime, a key local interbank deposit indicator, as it cut credit lines for some KazPrime participants, the bank said on Monday.

Zhaikmunai raises $300 million on LSE
(SRI) - Zhaikmunai, an independent Kazakhstan-focused oil company, has raised $300 million by issuing new Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs) for $4 apiece on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
