(SRI) - Consumer prices in Kazakhstan rose 0.3 percent in July, continuing a falling trend. In the last 12 months, consumer prices rose by 6.9 percent, Kazakhstan’s state statistical agency said.

(SRI) - Nurbank, Kazakhstan’s ninth largest bank, reported a 4.5-fold increase in net income compared to the same period last year from KZT129 million ($0.86 million) to KZT570 million ($3.8 million) in the first six months of 2009.
