Financial court approves BTA restructuring plan
(SRI) - A special financial court in Almaty approved BTA Bank’s debt restructuring plan, the lender said on Friday. The decision provides a boost to the bank’s efforts to restructure its $10.3 billion debt.

Non-performing loans increase slightly in September - FSA
(SRI) - Non-performing loans (NPLs) in the Kazakh banking sector rose by 2.75 percent in September to 34.7 percent, according to a report published by the Financial Supervision Agency (FSA).
