Kazatomprom net profit up 55 percent in Jan-Sep

(SRI) - Kazatomprom recorded a net profit of KZT29.017 billion ($193.4 million) in the first nine months of 2009, compared with KZT18.714 billion ($124.76 million) in the same period in 2008.

Its revenues were up 35 percent to KZT122 billion ($813 million) from KZT90.5 billion ($603 million) in the year before.

Kazatomprom’s assets totaled KZT378.344 billion ($2.52 billion) while its equity stood at 247.404 billion ($1.65 billion).
