IFC lends $60 million to ATF Bank
(SRI) - The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has lent $60 million to ATF Bank, Kazakhstan’s fourth largest bank, to facilitate small business financing, the bank said on Tuesday.

Parliament approves budget for 2010
(SRI) - The Mazhilis, Kazakhstan’s lower house of the parliament, approved the 2010 state budget on Tuesday which sees the economy growing by 2.4 percent next year.

KMG net profit falls 70 percent in Jan-Sep
(SRI) - KazMunaiGas, the state oil and gas company, reported a net profit of KZT107 billion ($718 million) in January through September 2009, a 70-percent fall compared to the same period last year.

MangistauMunaiGas income falls 43 percent in first nine months of 2009

(SRI) - MangistauMunaiGas (MMG), a Kazakh oil and gas company controlled by the state-owned KazMunaiGas, recorded a net income of KZT64.9 billion ($432 million) in the first nine months of 2009, a 43-percent decline compared to the same period last year.
